What is model United ?

Model U.N is, in the simplest of it’s terms, a model of the U.N. Since it’s inception by St. Lawrence University in 1949, Model U.N has attracted more and more students bridging gaps between geopolitical crises and historical conventions.

Model U.N is a consensus building forum where students participate as delegates and representatives of nations and political leaders found in the conventional councils of the U.N and the newly found unconventional groups of nations. This simulation typically involves intense research, public speaking, debating, negotiating, writing skills, team work, leadership and critical thinking.
